A short post about doing nothing.

I must say, this is a nice change. I sent in some more work to be critiqued, so now I'm sort of stuck with nothing to do.

I could probably go on with the sequel, but I just didn't feel like it today. So... instead of worrying and moping about the fact, I decided to take the day to catch up on some blogs that I've been meaning to visit.

It works doubly as well because of the fact that my day is sliced in little bits and pieces.

Still, that doesn't mean that I'm avoiding everything writing related. No, today I finally get to have that meeting about the libretto that I'm supposed to write. So hopefully I'll be able to start with it very soon.

What are you doing today? Anyone else being as lazy as me?

  1. It's good to have restful periods from our writing. They recharge us. So enjoy your time off. Today, I'm working on chap 7 of my wip. I've been switching between it and editing another, a chap at a time.

  7. I'm being lazy but don't feel good about it :)

Funny thing, Misha, when I clicked on your name at my blog where you left a comment it took me straight to your Google+ profile rather than your Blogger profile. I got panicky and wondered if Blogger/Google was doing this with all of us but it only happened to yours. How did you connect your blog to Google+ like that? Or maybe you didn't realise it was? Just wondering....

  8. I am always lazy. Sometimes notoriously so. And I can be apathetic as well. So I celebrate anyone who chooses to do the same.

  9. All of the bosses are offsite all day at a meeting. So...very relaxed.

  14. I spent the better part of two days trying to move an audiocassete tape onto my PC. Will have to see higher techs for help. Very very frustrated right now. Where are the Oreo cookies when you need them??

  15. Too funny! Just as I clicked over to read your blog I was telling my husband how lazy I was being. Yep, being lazy here for sure.

  16. I'm trying to convince my non-lazy side that finally doing the blogging I should have for the past several days isn't being lazy. But yeah, I guess I am. :P

  18. I'm writing one and editing another. In between shopping, the kids, and waiting to hear back from submissions.
